Job Description
IBM Brand System professionals lead all of IBM to deliver client, employee, community, investor and business partner experiences that are in line with our brand intent, execute on the brand strategy set forth by Brand System leadership and aligned to IBM's business priorities in each of the markets we serve.
IBM Brand System professionals have extensive working knowledge of and experience in using marketing, communications and consulting concepts, methods and activities and apply this knowledge to lead the development of strategically-sound and operationally-detailed brand strategies, plans and programs as an integral part of the global business plan.
IBM Brand System professionals serve as subject matter expert for the IBM brand, the IBM brand character, and a values based brand strategy.
They apply, and enable others to apply, successful influence strategies through personal, social and structural motivation and ability to create positive change for IBM business and markets.
Activities include:- Apply the IBM At Its Best Framework to shape IBM culture and experience through all touch points- Align brand strategy to brand activities connected to national agendas (e.g. smarter planet solutions); align more closely to national agendas in countries that we work with - Drive an "at our best" experience for brand initiatives, functions, and strategies with the marketing, communications and citizenship community (CC&CA, Advertising, internal and external web presence, events, sponsorship, IBM client centers, etc.).- Proactively engage with HR, RESO etc. to ensure IBM experience are consistent with brand values and strategy (including things like logo use, naming, spaces, brand experience, client centers, etc).
These should not only look and sound like IBM, but the way they are used and managed should think and perform like IBM to create a total IBM experience that is reflective of the IBM brand - Lead the broader IBM community to realize the brand strategy based on fact based data and a range of metrics from brand health, client satisfaction, employee climate etc.
Proactively engage with any area of the business where the data demonstrates we are delivering an IBM experience that is not aligned to our intent to develop and run improvement programs based on insights gained from this data.
Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree.
- English: Fluent.
