Job Vacancies at West African Power Pool (WAPP)

West African Power Pool (WAPP) is a specialized institution of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) that was created to integrate the operations of its member power utilities into a unified sustainable regional electricity market, with the ultimate goal of providing the ECOWAS Member States with stable and reliable electricity supply, at affordable cost, in the medium and long terms. The WAPP General Secretariat has its headquarters in Cotonou, Republic of Benin.

In support of WAPP Secretariat’s effort, the World Bank provided WAPP Secretariat a grant under the Component 2.B of “Technical Assistance and Integration of WAPP network” in the Phase 1 of WAPP Cote d’Ivoire – Liberia – Sierra Leone – Guinea (CLSG) Project. This component is related to facilities and services to support the integration of WAPP transmission networks and some of the developmental activities.

Job Location: Cotonou, Republic of Benin

1.) PIU Project Manager

5.) Scada / Telecommunication Engineers
